About the artist

I've been drawing since early childhood and have always held a strong interest in art. I just took to it naturally and enjoyed it as a hobby.

In mid 2017, I was able to retire from my job and focus more on my art endeavors. From this, I was able to increase skill and have painted nearly 1000 paintings. I started getting requests for pet portraiture and quickly learned that there is demand for pet paintings.  And so here we are. 

I'm currently living in Tigard, OR. and have lived in Oregon for over 40 years. I work out of my home studio. Every day is a blessing to do the thing I've wanted to do my whole life. That is to create.

Sophia is a rescue dog. I adopted her from the Multnomah County Animal Shelter when she was 3 years old. Her mix is Pitbull, Rhodesian Ridgeback and black lab. She is the sweetest dog I've ever had and I've never seen a dog so patient and loving with young kid. She's like a second mom. 

Sophia is 12 years old now. Her back is going out and I know I don't have much more time with her.  Most loving dog I've ever had.
